We're the McIntosh Family: husband (Mike), wife (Carolyn) and pup (Finnegan "Finn") team. 

 

I (Carolyn) have had a passion for coffee shops for as long as I can remember. With a background in Industrial Organizational Psychology, I love how you can walk into 100 coffee shops, order the same coffee, but you will always have a new experience. I am intrigued by the unique culture that each shop creates and love how coffee shops are one of the few places left where people take the time to pause, and truly connect with each other.

I (Mike) have had a passion for coffee shops, well, since meeting Carolyn seven years ago. We spent several of our dates in the early years, getting to know each other over coffee and Italian Rainbow Cookies. My appreciation for coffee shops further grew once moving from New York to Austin in 2019. We spent many weekends exploring new coffee shops which introduced us to the different neighborhoods of Austin and their unique vibes.

We found ourselves Googling new coffee shops each weekend. We thought to ourselves that there must be other people like us who enjoy exploring the different shops around Austin, so we partnered with 22 coffee shops to curate a map and accompanying passport to help guide people on their coffee journey.
